Hunter Gatherer Sangiovese grapes are sourced from their friends the Chalmers family vineyard in Colbinabbain, Heathcote. They use around 40% whole bunches in their Sangiovese ferments and use indigenous yeast. They also mature the wine in seasoned oak barrels for around 8 months before bottling. Flavours of cherry and red currants with notes of earthy tobacco and spice. Enjoyed with friends over a cheese platter.
